We miss you so, dear Doris!
 Over 14 years (100 human years) see report from Doris 14 years birthdayparty fell Doris asleep still in the grass with beautiful roses around her, she left behind 12 children, 78 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren 47 great grand grandchildren and 50 grandchildren's grandchildren's children, and already next weeks it is expected more grandchildren's grandchildren's children and so on.

She has many incredibly nice and friendly offspring not only in Sweden's long country, in Scandinavia, Greece, Romania, Russia, Brazil, Canada, the USA, in France. Doris has many many offspring that are not only nice family dogs, she has many offsprings that are Show champion and tracking champion and dogs that are merit in obedience, hunting, agility and rally obedience. Report from Puppy of The Year at Grand Hotel

Sunday 4:th of March, it was time for Puppy of the Year competition for this 2011 year's puppy, which was held at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm. The puppies who qualify to participate in this competition are puppies in the past year who has won Best in Show at any Kennel Clubs Dogshows. This competition has replaced the competition for Champion of Champions and the Veterans of Veterans formerly of years was organized by the Stockholm Kennel Club dog Protection Fund and there has Doris been for four year ago. (Doris is the grandmother's grandmother to Cooper and Cornelia).

 We had qualified two dogs to this competition, Cooper and Cornelia. Andrea would show Cooper and Louise Cornelia.

 Just two weeks before the show we had grooming and styled, both Cooper and Cornelia so that they would be perfect in their coats. On Saturday, they got a bath and blow-dry and early on Sunday morning we did the last styling on the dogs.

 Both Andrea and Louise had beautiful dresses and had done theire hairs. It was Andrea and Louise, her boyfriend Joakim and I, Katarina was going togheter to Grand Hotel. Five minutes before we were going we planned to take some photoes of the dogs but we discovered that my camera had broken down, it got a little bit hysterical when even Louise camera did not work. Just then called Ingela from kennel Dizzny'z where Zelda (Michael's Old English Sheepdog) are coming from, she and her group of supporters was obvious already in place they had a ticket over and asked if we could find anyone who wanted to have this ticket. We had already decided and booked that we would sit at the same table at Grand as we did last time 4 years ago.

 Just when we had to go, Michael came home, he had lunch from his work and trotted in with a large pizza box. Michael, who think he could eat his pizza in peace and quiet, had so wrong we asked him to help us whith to camera and in only a few minutes he sat in the car toether with 10 screwdrivers and his pizza box, he had just time to grab his coat and a shirt. In the car, as Andrea rode, sat Michael and desperately tried to fix the camera with tiny screwdrivers while he ate his pizza, and cursed my camera. Now we have no more than 30 minutes to Grand Hotel but camera operation failed, the pizza went down and in the enter of Grand Hotel we met Ingela, Lena and Ingela's mother. Since we had no camera, we were content with Andrea Iphone so picture quality is beneath contempt, sigh.

 Then we had fetched the dogs bibs that were in the same handsome silk material that entrance tickets, it was time to make the final prepering on the dogs. The judge for the day was Göran Bodegård.

 After a short time it was time to take place and eat Grand Hotel's famous afternoon tea served togheter with sandwiches with smoked trout with chives and horseradish crème. Skagen artichokes. Blackened calf with kinda cucumber chilli and lemoncremé. And spicycremé flavored with cheese. All the time we got the tea filled by a nice waiter. Then we got scones, both natural and flavored with Australian macadamia nuts and white chocolate. Lemon curd, raspberry jam. Moved butter, cream, cream cheese and vanilla. Then came the pastries are made up of Macarons with Grand Marnier truffles, Devil Cake, Coconut Tops and Fruitetartelett.

 We had a very nice time at our table along with Ingela and Lena and so on. After a while they called up the puppymales to the judging. The competition takes the form of a game show, only males will compete in pairs against each other with the winner of each pair goes on in the next round until only one male is left, then all females in the same way. Finally, there remains a male and one female and at last only the best puppy.

Andrea and Cooper made himself ready and they won a few rounds but was knocked out in the middle of the contest, Cooper thought it was a little too much music and pomp and circumstance for he taste. Louise and Cornelia also won a few rounds but had to settle for just that Cooper will be among the top 10 which is not bad at all.

 Our table companion was doing better and Ingela matched up her beautiful Sheepdog puppy to Puppy of the year 2011, congratulations, wonderful!!

 In our home we had a huge blue bow which Cooper won and Cornelia won the same but in pink, so pretty. They were also among other things, opposite a large diamond-copy price of the text this year's Puppy 2011 and opposite nice towel that was embroidered with the text this year's puppy 2011th

 Those of you who wonder if Michael came back to his job after lunch has now got the answer he did not he was kidnapped by his awful family he he.
