Summary of the past
year 2013
I would first start with the sad events that occurred during the year at the kennel, both Charlie and Zelda has left us far too early. Charlie after a brief illness and Zelda because a new owner's strange idea of an OES, very regrettable. We miss both of our old dogs very much, read more about these amazing dogs in our dogs that has moved.
The kennel Big Brazzel, turns 30 years 1 January 2014.
We have in 2013 been at 38 dogshows. We have shown 31 groups all with HP and usually with four different combinations of dogs, of these times we have been BOB- group 30 times. 9 times we have not stayed for the finals and 17 times we have been placed in BIS and 4 times we have not been placed in BIS with our groups. We have become BIS group in Kumla, Moheda, Springer East Open Show Stockholm, Åland, and in Åre. BIS-2 in Visby, Härnösand , Öland. BIS-3 in Visby, Östersund, Örnsköldsvik, Gränna, Växjö, Åre and BIS-4 in Strängnäs, Österbybruk, Norrköping. For this result, we placed ourselves as 19th best breeders of all breeds in Sweden.
We have had two breeding groups during th year, Corrine and four offspring to her in Gothenburg (one day) and in Västerås, both times we have been BOB, but not stayed to the BIS.
Andrea Ewert has during the year, competed in the Swedish Mastership in junior handling and she got BIS on Gotland with Cherry (Big Brazzel Perfect Picture), I Ulriksdal she and Corall (Big Brazzel Driving Me Crazy) got BIS-3, In Österbybruk Andrea and Cornelia (Big Brazzel Hot Sensation) became BIS-3, and therefore qualified to SM in junior handling. In Svenstavik Andrea and Cornelia became BIS-4 in junior handling.
Mikey (Big Brazzel Thunderball ) and Sammy (Big Brazzel Absolute Power) have both during the year had great success in agility and both have qualified for the championship team in agility.
We have or had 2013 3 litters and have from twich we have exported a puppy to Poland, London (Big Brazzel Xtra Hot), a puppy to Norway, Hugo (Big Brazzel All I Enjoy), two puppies to Germany Agnete (Big Brazzel Xtra Drive) and Hannes (Big Brazzel All I Need).
During the year, 44 of the kennels bred dogs had been at different show all with very good results.
Corrine (CH Brazzel Big Catch Me If You Can) has during the year been BOB 5 times, in Forshaga, two days after the each other in Visby, on the springer Östgöta in Mjölby and in Gränna. She has been BOS in Västerås and in Sunne, she has been BIS, BIS-3 twice and BIS 4. She has been on almost all of her shows placd in best bitch class and received a numbers of resev-CACIB etc. She became topspringer-5 of the year here in Sweden.
Chelsea (CH Big Brazzel Born To Be Wild ) has during the first months of the year been on some shows with good results and some best bitch placements. In May 2013 Chelsea became mother to a litter of 8 puppies and at the end of November she had 7 puppies, so next year Chelsea will be back in the showrings again after her maternity leave.
Chanel (Big Brazzel Time After Time ) has not showed anything during the year, but she has had her last litter consisting of 7 puppies in the summer and will soon be in shape for in the next year get on the show rings again and then try to get her last CC/CAC to her championship.
Caitlin is mated and will have puppies in mid-February 2014, she has not been on any show during the year.
Cornelia (CH Big Brazzel Hot Sensation), daughter to Chelsea, was just after her 2nd birthday Swedish champion in Strängnäs. She has during the years been BOB three times in Strängnäs, Åre and in Örnsköldsvik. She was BIS-2 in Örnsköldsvik, in Åre, BIS-4 and in Strängnäs she became BIG-2. She has received a number of CACIB, CC/CAC and reserve-CC during the year. She has been placed in the best bitch on most of the shows she has been on. She's about to go on maternity leave and awaiting her first litter in January 2014. She became topspringer-8 of the year here in Sweden.
Cooper (CH Big Brazzel Higher And Higher) son to Chelsea, was just after his 2nd birthday Swedish champion in Högbo (a week after Cornelia). He has since that been showed 5 times in championclass and each time he has been placed in the best male class. He has during the year got a number of CC/CAC, reserve CAC and reserve CACIB.
Cecilia (CH SVJV-12 Big Brazzel Everytime We Touch), daughter to Chanel, has also became Swedish champion at her first show after she had became two years. She has during the years got 9 CC/CAC, one of them in Finland.
She has during the year been BIS twice in Kumla and at springer Östras open show in Stockholm, BIS-2 twice in Östersund and Härnösand and she become BIS/BIM-3 in Moheda, she has become BIG-1 at Solvalla, she has become BIG-2 and Group-4 on Öland. She has during the years been BOB 8 times in Kumla, Östersund, Österbybruk , Härnösand, Ransäter, springer Östras open show in Stockholm, Solvalla, Öland and BOS 3 times in Moheda, Köping and on Åland. She has in 2013 received 5 CACIB one in Finland and several reserve-CC/CAC and reserve CACIB. She has on almost all shows during the year been placed in the best female. She became topspringer-3 of the year in Sweden.
Clara (Big Brazzel Best Of Brands), daughter to Corrine and sister to Cody, has during the year won the juniorrclass 9 times and have become second in juniorclass twice by a total of 11 shows she has been on. She was BIS-2 junior at springer Östergötland in Mjölby. This makes her the number 5 top junior in Sweden 2013.
Cody (Big Brazzel Back In Business) son to Corrine and brother to Clara. He has during the year been BIS-2 in Åre, BOB in Åre, and 3 BOS in Östersund, Öland and Gimo. He has received 10 CC/CAC this year and 7 reserve-CC, one in Finland. He has got 2 CACIB and reserve CACIB in Finland during the year. He has on most the shows during the the year, placed himself in the best male. He became top springer 7 in Sweden 2013 and he become the years top junior 2013.
Corall (Big Brazzel Drive Me Crazy), daughter to Chanel, has during the year been at seven shows, she has got two CC/CAC and 3 reserve CC and two reserve-CACIB and on most shows been placed in best bitch class. Next year, she will try to get her last CC/CAC for her championtitel.
Casino (Big Brazzel Xtra Outstanding), daughter to Chelsea, has been sparingly showed as puppy, she has been BOS-puppy
Colleen (Big Brazzel All In Love), daughter to Chanel, has been BOB and BIS puppy twice both times in Åre
London (Big Brazzel Xtra Hot, son to Chelsea, who we co-own with kennel Avendesora in Poland has been showed three times and has been BOB every time and BIS puppy two times, once in Poland and twice in Lithuania .
Lilly (PJV-12 Big Brazzel I Am Legend), daughter to Caitlin, has over the summer recieved reserve CC and some best bitch placements here in Sweden She is temporarily on loan to Poland, where she has won BIG- 2 , BOB twice and BOS twice, she has gained 5 CC/CAC and 3 CACIB and one reserve-CACIB. She has become Polish Junior Winner-2013 and Crufts qualified 2014.
Bosse (CH Big Brazzel Purple Rain), son to Cleo and half-brother to Corrine, has during the year been out 4 times in the veteran class. All the times he has been placed in the best male and became BOS and BIS/BIM-4. He has been BOB-veteran three times and BOS-veteran once. He has been BIS-veteran and BIS-3 veteran.
Izzie (CH Big Brazzel Hot Enough), daughter to Chelsea, who lives in Brazil has during the year received 11 CACIB, 6 BOB and BOS 5, and many BIG and BIS placements.
Charma (Big Brazzel Ztrong And Stylish), daughter to Chanel has during the year been BOB 5 times and BOS once in puppy class. She has been BIS puppy twice and BIS-2 twice and BIS-3 puppy once.
Emma (CH Big Brazzel Will Always Love You), daughter to Chelsea, living at the kennel Veraspring in Russia has during the year been BOB twice, 3 Junior BOB, 2 junior BOS, BIG- 4, 7 CC/CAC, 2 CACIB, 1 reserve CACIB and Russian junior Champion
Joyce (Big Brazzel Ivory White), daughter to Caitlin, has been on several dogshows and has been placed in best bitchclass several times.
Spike (Big Brazzel Intense Colour), son to Caitlin, have been showed twice and got CC/CAC and became BOS.
Liza (Big Brazzel Hot And Wild ), daughter to Chelsea, has during the year got CC and 2 reserve CC and best bitch placement.
Philip (Big Brazzel Bungy Jumper), Athos (Big Brazzel Enjoy The Future), Flora (Big Brazzel Butterfly Flip), Alice (Big Brazzel All About Love), Wilma (Big Brazzel Cookie Dough), Theo (Big Brazzel Quantum Of Solace), Glossy (Big Brazzel Glossy Lips), Jasmine (Big Brazzel Belive In Me), Saga (Big Brazzel Hot Effect), Jerry (Big Brazzel Only You), Tindra (Big Brazzel Black Beauty), Philippa (Big Brazzel Black Edition) Vilja (Big Brazzel Close To My Heart), Jilla (Big Brazzel Big Bang), Spencer (SVJV -12 Big Brazzel Impression Piece), Wille (Big Brazzel Greased Lightning ), Kiwa (Big Brazzel Just Splendid), Prada (Big Brazzel Ztarlight Zparkels), Trazzel (Big Brazzel Zmart and Zplendid) Wilma (Big Brazzel Gossip Girl), Daffy (Big Brazzel all or Nothing) have all either won or placed themselves in their class or with CQ and all have received excellent critics.
Zack (Big Brazzel All I Have), son to Chanel, has been BOB puppy at his only show this year.
Joy (Big Brazzel Xtra Chic), daughter to Chelsea, have been BOB and BOS puppy during the year.
Jojo (Big Brazzel Xtra Elgant), daughter to Chelsea, has been BOS-puppy.
Elton (Big Brazzel All I Want), son to Chanel, has been BOB and BIS-puppy at his only show of the year.
I would also like to congratulate more grandchildren and great grandchildren and grandchildren's grandchildren to our bred dogs for the years merited in dogshows, tracking, rally obedience and agility and to them who even become champion in several of these sports so enjoyable. Also congratulations all fine offspring of our guys, Charlie, Eros and Cooper for their efforts in various dog sports around the world so fun to read and hear about you.
