September 28th a very busy day with grooming, bathing and blow-drying of our four dogs that were with us to Åland, Andrea came early in the day and we prepare our brown whites. Mats took Hailey for a long walk so that we could make our dogs fine even if Hailey is happy to help us in good and bad ways. We managed to eat some early dinner and Andrea E arrived with her luggage which consisted mostly of thick warm clothes, we would be sleeping outdoors at Åland becauce we, had not found any lodging where we could have all the dogs with us. The trip up to Grisslehamn went quickly and it was dark when we arrived at the boat. On the boat we ate good shrimp and egg sandwiches and met many like-minded people who also would show the following day.


When we arrived it was just pitch black and we were looking for a good place where we could park the car for the night and after a little searching, we found the back of an abandoned old fish stocks . We backed the car down the forest and because we have a transformed car we went out the seats, etc. and instead patted it with warm weet beds and sleeping bags in the rear of the car. The dogs thought it was very cozy and though it was terribly crowded with four dogs and three people  we finally managed to get a little sleep. It was a little pill when Andrea E would charge her phone and fell down on the floor in the front seat under knob Andrea R had to pull her out, see the photos with orange socks standing straight up in the air. A lot of laughter and it was a little cold too in the car.
   

Eckeröhallen where the show would be was a nice big hall where the rings consisted of artificial grass and the remaining floors are laminated in plastic. It was just random checks of veterinary inspection and it was simple and easy to get into. We had plenty of time before it was our turn to enter the ring, so we could both brush your teeth and eat some remaining shrimp sandwiches and drink some cold coffee. First up in the ring of our dogs was Cody he won his class with CQ and was 2:nd best male with reserve CC and reserve CACIB. Our bitches are all champion and when I reported it was at the last minute, which meant that all the bitches were entered in champion class otherwise you can notify them in open class, then they are not the champion in that particular country they compete in. We got some help with the bitches and in the champion class won Cecilia, two were Corrine and three became Cornelia so it was fun. The best female won Cecilia and got CACIB and CC, second was Corrine with reserve-CC and reserve-CACIB and four best female was Cornelia, last year 2012 Cornelia was BOB in Åland so she had already Finnish CC and CACIB but was with us as company. Cecilia became BOS. Our breeders consisting of our three champion girls and Cody won best group and then we waited for the boat home we stayed to BIS-final where Andrea R and Andrea E showed two ESS each and our fine team finished as BIS which was very enjoyable .
 
After the show, the dogs got a good walk and a food consisting of double portion of food  one kilogram meatballs and some other things they really like very much.
Then they slept almost the whole way home .
 
Towards the evening we were in the harbor and waited for the boat, below pics is of some amazing flowers that we won in the best in show finale.
On the boat home, we ate a very tasty dinner and sat and talked with nice people.
Many thanks my dear traveling companion Andrea R, Andrea E, Corrine, Cody, Cecilia and Cornelia, a trip with as usual a lot of laughings and a lot of crazy things that obviously censored in this text.
